"Never is a man more of a man than when he is the father of a newborn."
As a Houston newborn photographer, I have a special place in my heart for daddy and baby portraits. There is something so incredibly sweet about the pride that a man who has just become a father displays. The way he gently cradles his baby, how he so tenderly kisses that tiny head, or the way he tenderly rocks him back to sleep while singing him a lullaby, are all enough to make a mama's heart melt. It is always such a joy to get to capture the love and emotion that a new daddy feels as he holds his new perfect blessing in his arms. Photographing this particular father and son was even more special. You see, the guys in these photos are my own. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to photograph my husband and our adorable baby boy together while he is still in that sleepy newborn stage. Needless to say, my heart melted as I photographed them both, and it melts all over again every single time I see these photographs. I am blessed beyond words. I can't wait to see this little guy develop his own personality and become best buds with daddy, just like his two older brothers. I look forward to photographing many more portraits of my boys and their father as they grow.
